About
Pascale Bardos’s practice is characterised by a dualism in which empirical research and intuition coexist- developed through her enquiry of sensation and experience. Bardos explores the entanglements between scientific rationale and poetic logic, through a phenomenological lens she investigates properties of matter (lightness, composition, fluidity) and phenomena (reflection, perspective, balance) to form her methodologies. Creating installations, immersive environments and sculptures, Bardos orchestrates sensory experiences that transcend physical space and measurable time, encompassing a continuum.
Pascale Bardos is currently working and living in her hometown Byron Bay, on the land of the Arakwal Bumberlin peoples of the Bundjalung nation.
